The majority of my career has been spent in higher education environments. I have completed laboratory, dormitory, medical research, cleanrooms, vivarium and other highly technical projects for several world class Higher Education clients.
I've had intentional strategic Involvement in planning and organizational capability development on specific projects. Assisted with lean practices and integrated planning.
Several advanced manufacturing and mission critical projects have been completed over the course of my career. The majority of these projects have confidentiality agreements that do not allow me to discuss specifics; however several of these manufacturers are delivering world class products.

The first major phase of a university-wide plan to integrate science, engineering, and medicine, the Lorry I. Lokey Stem Cell Research Building provides 200,000 gross square feet for the Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, the Stanford Cancer Center, the Ludwig Center for Stem Cell Research and Medicine, and the Stanford Institute of Neuroinnovation and Translational Neuroscience. The facility houses laboratories for investigators in a variety of disciplines, along with the core technologies and services to support their work. The building design features open laboratories and communal gathering spaces that encourage interaction and teamwork, and is a key component in our effort to encourage alliances between scientists and physicians.

Construction of the Precision Measurement Laboratory, an extension to Building 1 (B1E) scheduled to be completed in FY 2011, will address the needs of about one-fourth of the NIST-Boulder programs that require stringent control of temperature, vibration, humidity, and air cleanliness to accomplish research objectives. The extension will also provide cost-effective opportunities to systematically renovate other aging laboratory facilities at the NIST Boulder site by serving as swing-space for labs that will temporarily be moved from Building 1.

The NRF currently houses a 7,000+ sq. ft. clean room class 100-1000 with over 60 fabrication and inspection related tools. The facility and its resources are available to the entire university community and provide an excellent foundation for current research and grant proposals. The project was completed in concert with the Nanoscience Institute for Medical and Engineering Technology

The founding goal of the VGTI was to assemble a multidisciplinary team of scientists to respond to increasingly serious viral disease threats including AIDS, chronic viral infection-associated diseases, newly emerging viral diseases, and infectious diseases of the elderly. The development of vaccines and novel immune and gene therapeutic approaches to these diseases are the major priorities of the faculty.

Assisted with the completion of Biltmore Village Hotel on the prestigious grounds of Biltmore in Ashville, NC. This luxury brand hotel had 209 rooms and was fit with a state of the art gym, innovation center and restaurant. Nestled close to the existing 50+ year old winery.
In addition to being brought in to finish the Village Hotel project, I was fortunate enough to setup Biltmore's next successful project, an addition to the Deerpark Restaurant! I completed all of the pre-construction for the addition of a conference center to host large meetings, weddings, and other luxurious events.
A complete rebuild of a 1M+ square foot single level indoor shopping mall after the Cumberland River flooded during the 2010 Tennessee floods. Construction was completed while the mall became operational to the public thus creating unique challenges in keeping the public safe. This project was also funded via insurance monies which made for a unique and extremely detailed accounting process.
